Under Duress

Death threats from one Will Lounsbury aside, I really should update this.

¡¡¡It's portrait extravaganza time!!!

American Music

This is my final project subject for Fundamentals of Photojournalism. Cutline? Yes please:

The wind blows in Jake Johnson’s hair as he stands on the roof of Conley Avenue Garage, the usual venue where he performs what he calls “noise-punk mixed with folk undertones”. “I mainly just play guitar,” Johnson explained, “but I do different types of percussive stuff on the guitar through use of harmonics and objects shoved in between the guitar strings and various stuff like that.” Johnson’s performances gather crowds of up to thirty people, all dancing to his music. “It was just a really cool experience to know that I was a part of something that was moving them,” Johnson said of the audience at his last show.

Dunn

Hey, look, it's Chris Dunn! Chris is my photo editor over at the Maneater. We all went to get ice cream, and since it was such a nice day, I loaded by Hasselblad 500C/M with some Fuji Astia slide film. I found out that slides are wonderful.

Sunglass Stare

This is my little sister, Lindsey, on HIE film. This stuff is kind of amazing... reeeaally grainy, but some amazing effects. It's a shame it's going to be discontinued.

Still Feel The Same

It's Caitlin! My Polaroid spit this one out only after wasting another shot.

Whoo... I just hope this will deter Will from killing me.
